Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency ) Must-Have Strong hands-on experience in Node.js and backend application development. Good experience in JavaScript (ES6+) and/or TypeScript . Hands-on experience in React.js and/or Next.js for frontend application development. Experience in designing, developing, and consuming RESTful APIs and microservices . Strong understanding of web technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Responsive Design, and Browser Compatibility . Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, SQL Server , or similar. Experience using Git-based version control systems . Good understanding of software development principles, design patterns, debugging, and performance optimization. Experience working in Agile development environments using tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Good-to-Have Experience with Next.js features such as Server-Side Rendering (SSR), Static Site Generation (SSG), and API Routes. Experience with frontend state management libraries such as Redux, Context API, Zustand , or similar. Knowledge of Express.js, NestJS , or similar backend frameworks. Experience in GraphQL development and integrations. Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP . Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices . Experience with authentication and authorization mechanisms such as JWT, OAuth, OpenID Connect , or similar. Understanding of testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, Cypress, Playwright, React Testing Library , or similar. Experience with microservices architecture and event-driven systems. Exposure to frontend performance optimization, SEO concepts, and accessibility standards. </table
