Job Title: CA-UIM SME (Nimsoft SME) Experience: 8-12 Years Location: Bengaluru Employment Type: Full-Time Mode of interview: F2F/ Walk-in on 8th Aug Job Summary We are seeking an experienced CA-UIM (Nimsoft) Subject Matter Expert (SME) to manage, maintain, and optimize enterprise monitoring solutions across complex IT environments. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in infrastructure monitoring, troubleshooting, performance management, and integration of monitoring solutions across Windows, Linux, databases, applications, and cloud platforms. Key Responsibilities Administer, configure, and maintain CA-UIM/Nimsoft environments. Design and implement monitoring solutions for servers, applications, databases, network devices, and cloud infrastructure. Configure and manage probes, alarms, dashboards, reports, and SLA monitoring. Troubleshoot monitoring issues, probe failures, and performance bottlenecks. Perform CA-UIM upgrades, patching, migrations, and health checks. Develop custom monitoring solutions and automate monitoring processes where required. Integrate CA-UIM with ticketing tools and notification systems. Monitor infrastructure availability, performance, and capacity. Collaborate with Infrastructure, Cloud, Network, Application, and DBA teams to improve service reliability. Create operational documentation, monitoring standards, and knowledge articles. Participate in incident, problem, and change management activities. Required Skills Strong experience with CA-UIM (Nimsoft) administration and support. Hands-on experience with CA-UIM probes, hubs, robots, alarms, and dashboards. Experience monitoring: Windows Servers Linux Servers Databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, etc.) Network Devices Applications and Middleware Knowledge of monitoring best practices and alert tuning. Strong troubleshooting and performance analysis skills. Experience with PowerShell, Shell Scripting, or automation tools. Understanding of ITIL processes. Preferred Skills Azure Cloud Monitoring. Azure Monitor and Log Analytics. DevOps and Infrastructure Monitoring. Terraform and Infrastructure as Code concepts. PostgreSQL monitoring and performance analysis. Cloud monitoring integrations. Educational Qualification Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Desired Competencies Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities. Ability to work independently in a production support environment. Proactive approach to monitoring and incident prevention. Nice to Have Certifications Broadcom CA-UIM Certification. Microsoft Azure Administrator Certification. ITIL Foundation Certification.
