Role Summary We are seeking a Senior Java/AWS Microservices Developer to design, build, and support cloud-native applications running on AWS. The successful candidate will be a hands-on engineer who can quickly contribute to the design, development, testing, deployment, and support of distributed microservices operating at scale. Minimum Requirements Candidates should demonstrate strong experience in the following areas:  7+ years of software development experience.  Strong hands-on experience with Java 21 and Spring Boot.  Strong experience designing and developing REST APIs.  Experience with AWS cloud-native application development.  Experience building and supporting microservices in production environments.  Strong troubleshooting, performance tuning, and production support experience.  Experience working within Agile delivery teams.  Strong understanding of software engineering best practices and secure coding principles. Preferred Experience Experience with one or more of the following technologies is highly desirable:  AWS EKS  Kubernetes  Apache Kafka  DynamoDB  Redis / ElastiCache  HashiCorp Vault  Terraform  Docker  Helm  AWS Lambda  AWS messaging services (SQS, SNS, EventBridge) Technology Stack Languages & Frameworks  Java 21  Spring Boot  Spring Cloud Cloud & Platform  AWS  EKS  Kubernetes  Docker  Helm Messaging  Kafka  SQS  SNS  EventBridge Data  DynamoDB  Redis / ElastiCache  PostgreSQL / MySQL  Hibernate / JPA Security  HashiCorp Vault  OAuth2 / OIDC / JWT DevOps  Git  Jenkins  Terraform  Maven / Gradle Testing  JUnit  Mockito  WireMock  Cucumber Key Responsibilities  Design, develop, and maintain Java 21 microservices and REST APIs.  Build and support cloud-native applications running on AWS.  Develop scalable and secure software solutions following engineering best practices.  Implement automated testing and CI/CD practices.  Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.  Participate in technical design discussions and Agile ceremonies.  Deliver secure, scalable, maintainable, and well-tested software.  Collaborate with engineers, architects, product owners, and platform teams to deliver business outcomes.
