About the UNIT/ Unit Overview Virtual Validation Unit (CAE – Body) Location Pune Experience: 3 to 7 Years Number of openings 1 opening What awaits you/ Job Profile Job requires to build FEA models using Ansa for Abaqus / Nastran Solvers Experience of Subsystem modelling like BIW, Doors, Cross Car beam, Bumpers & Trim Parts etc Model build for Dyna Solver is added advantage Experience in Shell, Solid, Hybrid & plastic modelling techniques with thickness / material properties assigned Expert in Connection Modelling for Abaqus / Nastran / LS-Dyna Subsystem assembly creation & debugging the model with quality checks as per BMW guidelines What should you bring along Expert in Ansa Expert in Abaqus & Nastran Solver Able to do multitasking & easily switch between solvers Should take ownership of the task & handle it independently Good understanding of errors occurred in model checks / debugging the model & how to fix them quickly Have excellent communication skills both verbal & written Must have technical skill Good knowledge of mechanical engineering Ansa , Metapost, Abaqus, Nastran FE Model conversion from Nastran to Abaqus Static & Fatigue Analysis in Abaqus Modal & Frequency Analysis in Nastran Good to have Technical skills LS-Dyna, FEMFAT, Animator
