Job Title: CAD Automation Engineer (AutoCAD, Inventor, VB.NET) Experience: 3 to 10 years Job Location: (Bengaluru (Bangalore) Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled CAD Automation Engineer with strong expertise in AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, and VB.NET/.NET technologies. The candidate will be responsible for developing automation solutions to improve design efficiency, reduce manual effort, and streamline engineering workflows. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement CAD automation solutions using AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor APIs Design and maintain automation tools using VB.NET/.NET framework Automate repetitive design tasks, drawing generation, and model updates Work closely with engineering teams to understand requirements and deliver automation solutions Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing automation scripts/tools Ensure adherence to coding standards and documentation practices Mandatory Skills: Strong experience in AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor Proficiency in VB.NET / .NET programming Hands-on experience with CAD automation and API-based development Understanding of engineering design workflows and drawings Preferred Skills: Experience with iLogic (Inventor) or scripting tools Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts Exposure to data handling, file processing, or integration workflows Experience in large-scale automation projects Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering / Computer Science / Related field
